10 stories is only a few? That's a high-rise apartment building. Although Harry's world is undoubtedly more crowded than my own, I can't imagine a neighborhood of 10 story and taller feeling suburban. By the way, how many stories was the home he grew up in? It was closer to the academy, so the buildings should be quite a bit taller, and he shouldn't have had to do additional climbing once he got to school.
