what a cop out. Sad to see that even though the Author had planned out the ending they got tired of writing the story and abruptly gave it up. truthfully you could tell they were losing focus around the time lin died like 3 times in the simulation where he was a ghost. Hopefully they have learned to pace themselves for their next project.
