Isn't it the same goal of the "world"? To exterminate all of humankind? If the heros lost then the genocide would be done to there civilians. The parents are explaining these heavy issues but won't go into specifics of why the world wants to exterminate them. If the heros wanted peace on both sides then they would have to enforce it themselves and from what I have read so far that means going to war with everyone. You have really created a chaotic and complex world.

Man, it’s good, well written this far but I can’t completely suspend belief or disbelief, sigh…, im tired of reading about little children doing the absolute impossible as toddlers. Time skips. Use them. Well, that’s probably too late now. I’ll bookmark here and hopefully return at a point where I forget about the fact that the mc is going to take 300 chapters to grow into a teenager or adult, …of suspending belief.
