I don't see the need not to use dragons didn't Aegon conquer using them it doesn't truly matter in my eyes a demonstration of a dragons power will all the same put them down without the death of his men a show of force if you will the ancient valyrians conquered much of Essos the same way you don't her people detracting from it Use of dragons will have been permitted and encouraged to bring down the most foolhardy people. once they are brought low or conquered a few generations, and they won't truly matter anymore
