Just a thought… at the mention of scales im pretty sure this is Seren’s mom. Which would make sense as to why even Draven can’t sense her. Is he not a devine beast and one of her traits is having the ability to control a devine beast? Total guess as im not done reading the other book or far enough into this one.

I wonder if our princess knows what she is? She has transformed so possibly she does?
