Thank you for the update Inara_Me. I am disappointed that Joyce didn't get the wedding and marriage she had hoped for. I wonder why Adrian was so adamant that they get married so quickly? I look forward to the next update.

I think is because he is literally going to war, spoiler alert if you el haven’t read the previous book he has an alliance with Salvatore, and like 4 other people, called priesthood, if one is attacked then they all unite forces and help eachother. In the previous chapters Adrian receives a call, about one of those people, so he has to marry Joyce for her to be able to get full protection by having his lastname
