She just conveniently forgot to mention her kind, not just anyone her grandmother killed King Jian's mother 😒 Wow can't believe Menarx's actually is all bonded with her. Here I was all happy. I was re-reading the book, and I think it's chapter 123 called My Way where Adrienne explained that it didn't matter if a dragon was your bonded because you needed their trust and heart first before they can give you their scale that it took her sister 2 decades before lord lordenworth let her touch His scale and thankfully they were mates but it wouldn't matter because her sister had already had his heart.

Old habits die hard! I sincerely hope Adrienne took Veahs warning to heart and is not playing a double game. I wouldn’t be surprised if she still holds resentment and jealousy deep down because in her heart she knows she can never compare to Beah!

I’m so disappointed in Menarx and that he accepted to bond with that snake 😡 I hope they’re both miserable and unhappy for the rest of their lives.

I feel like the author is making Narx and Adrienne seem good now, only to break them later (for trusting Adrienne given her past actions). I mean, Jian knows that Adrienne stole that flower, he knows she was using magic in his keep, maybe he even knows that her grandmother killed his mother. Jian keeps many things to himself….
