I have read about this nyx and she has ruined the story being essentially giving Jacob unlimited lifespan that kinda ruins his motivation to reach eternal life and he just messes around more it was the same with the fantastic head hunter which has become a crutch for social situations, for example can't immediately get what you want just enslave them no problem and I see no real drive that he had in the first 1-200 pages. comment if I am not the only one.
