Also, this is unrelated, but you may want to check out the game "Tom Clancy's EndWar". In particular, forget nuclear bombs, at least in part. Militarize space and have the capability for kinetic bombardment or even set up a satellite system that could down or destroy the attempts of other nations in trying to reach space. (Check out the screenshot and video below to understand what I mean.) ;) I would check out gameplay footage and all the cutscenes/trailers for the game for inspiration. I just think it'd be funny if the US or someone else builds a rocket and once it begins to blast off into the atmosphere, it's destroyed middair from a laser or something else. It'd be hilarious and incredibly demoralizing.

In response to my earlier post here on this chapter. Just look up on YouTube, "Shattered Union PC Trailer - Intro Trailer" on IGN and the various ending cutscenes that the player gets, the ending cutscenes you get depends on how much civilian devastation you inflicted while trying to win the civil war. Anyways, the foreign involvement in creating/stabilizing a second US civil war and nuking the US capital during the president's swearing in ceremony for their second term would be awesome. (Bye bye Shepherd #1 and the others who go there to celebrate. (Like the German PM and etc.)) 😎 If you have FDR run against the boss Shepherd, but was quickly banned from partaking in the election process because of his popularity, it would all but seal the deal of creating a US civil war arc with different US regions trying to unite the country under their banner. If this happens, maybe even have the winning faction that Alexander supports rebel against him when they're obviously winning the war, because of European bribery or something else. Which would then directly force Alexander to invade the US mainland to create a puppet government with FDR in charge since he was too principled to partake in the civil war or was just politically outmaneuvered. :D

You should check out the main storyline and the secondary ones (primarily the cutscenes though) for the game "Shattered Union". It could provide some inspiration for you when you finally deal with the Black Hand in the USA.
