I’m so sad for Eve. Even if Vincent finds out that she is his mermaid from his past, it might taint her happiness that he still regected her. I’m just so sad! I hope he figures it out soon, or at least realizes that he loves her after she likely moves on.

I'm going to make an assumption. In the coming chapters when Eve gets to lay her mother to rest, it will come out about the patchwork coat her mother made her in their struggles. Vince will finally see that Eve is in fact the mermaid he's always searched for. But, will it be too late?

At this point I don’t even care if he finds out that Eve is the mermaid he’s been looking for because he got to know the real her without that knowledge, he got to see a side of her that no one has an they had formed such a strong bond an trust for one another that I doubt he has ever had with any other female (of course his mother takes that #1 spot in his heart) but Eve is definitely close to second in making him feel something, I believe she is someone he cares for. But he is cruel with his words sometimes an he definitely shouldn’t have said that part about the blood 🩸in the last chapter before this one, but I wanna know why he’s trying to push her away when I know for a fact he won’t be happy to see someone trying to gain her affections. Idk That’s just my thoughts on things lol an I’m little frustrated on how him finding out she’s the little mermaid he’s been trying to find gonna change his feelings for her, someone please tell me why everyone thinks this. Also let’s say she wasn’t, what was he gonna do if he found the other mermaid? Drop eve??

I was kind of hoping Vincent would fly straight to Eves first home since he had that nagging feeling of her being his little mermaid when they were kids, And finding the coat and realizing she was the one and how he messed up by breaking her heart and leaving her .

Aaaaaaaaaannndddd this....this right here is why Noah never mentioned his feelings for Eve and vice versa. Their friendship would have been ruined like it feels how Eve and Vinces is. I am very disappointed with him. And Eve still willing to offer her blood to him was seriously saintly and he just flings that back in her face!!!! JERK!!! Ugh please redeem yourself sir. P.S.
