OMG! She finally broke down after all she had been through and in front of Vincent! She was probably overwhelmed by the torture she indured, the worry & anxiety of being exposed & killed and the kindness Vincent showed to her that she was overcome with emotion and could not hold it in anymore! Vincent went into protection mode! Afterall, he has been protecting Eve since she was a child and old habits are hard to break! He is telling himself he is protecting his blood bag but I feel it is much more! Just as he was drawn to her as a child, he is drawn to her now! I think they are meant to be! I am not sure how, but they are! Let it out Eve! Vincent will protect you so no one will see your beautiful high quality tears! You need to have a really good cry right now! It’s going to be ok! Something tells me Master Vincent is going to be a bit more protective of his blood bag from now on! Ash, wow! 3 amazing chapters! They were so good and so much more!
