Can you say sigh of relief? Oh. My. Goodness. Gracious. That was intense! I was holding my breath the entire time, thinking Eve was either going to shed a tear or Deacon was going to see her scales! Oh boy, now that I can breath, whew, that was too close for comfort! I have never been so happy to see Vincent in a scene before and I never prayed so hard for him to show up! The things she went through at the hands of these savages is just unthinkable especially being innocent! I sure hope Vincent puts Deacon in his place now, where he will be unable to treat another women like this again! Ash, this was such a terrifying but relieving chapter! Thank you so much! Now to sit and wait for the outcome of this horrible mistake!
omg, I thought we'd still gonna have wait more for Vince before Eve is rescued from the dungeon; but now FINALLY he got there just right at the nick of time. Eve had suffered that long; I would love for Vince to do something similar with what he had done before to a lowly vampire previously as punishment to Deacon.
OH GOD AFTER LONG AGONIZING HOURS OR DAYS AT LAST YOU ARE HERE. How I prayed for your timely arrival, although I knew that our dear author won't break my heart, it didn't help me out of my anxious self. Your last statement does carry a lot of weight Mr. Moriarty. I hope those words will acquire their entire meaning soon enough. and I can't wait to see those days.
