Warmaisach
Even though I can process with my mind that it is NEVER a good idea to pressure an author for more chapters (lower quality grammar, storytelling, character dev., ect), I can't help but wish for it... This story is just too good, with all the LOGICAL, but unexpected developments, interesting characters, unique story and world, (imperfect) consistency, that I just can't get enough of it... If I had a coupon to 'forget something just to experience it for the first time again', I would be in a really hard spot between this novel and the Witcher 3... I think this statement speaks for itself.
I feel like the training arc was a bit too long, maybe 2-4 chapters too long, some things were a bit repetetive/redundant imo, but I'm happy to see that Shang finally figured out the moral hurdle that was plaguing him. It's not the way I would've liked it to turn out as Shang seems a bit too inhuman to really immerse myself in his character, but I'll enjoy it nonetheless. Anyway I'm glad it's over and we can get on with plot and see the rise of the Swordwhirlwind Kingdom haha
This last chapters can be interpreted as the growth of Shang is not explosive but it takes a long time like the true path, the chapters explain what happens inside and outside slowly but surely and to create a good foundation for what is about to come next, meaning that Shang is now able to do much more and the novel is now capable of exploring deeper the world without appearing rushed, I may be overanalizing things but that's what I think. Also if this is how long it took to reach true path I wonder how the next warrior stages will be 💀
