I don’t actually like the fact that the old gods was a option among the other gods. One can argue that the red god and manny face god and even some of the other gods mention are just old gods that the children just join together as their religion it will explain how the children created the white walkers using the manny face god power over death and how they make their exploding grenade ball stuff using the red god fire power or even how they flooded the neck with rhoyne power over water and all of the other stuff they are capable of can be attributed to other different nameless gods we don’t know of. But that’s just my theory.
