I’m happy he finally reached this point and that Zariah didn’t make it easy for him! I don’t understand his inner dialogue from the previous chapter, though. His reasoning, or lack thereof, is astounding. I hope he becomes a better man because Zariah deserves so much more…at least we agree on that. Rubs me the wrong way how he assumes she likes him more that he does her. 🙄 Can’t wait for the next chapter(s)!!
