I was surprised to see Dian get beaten so easily, though to my understanding he wasn't quite killed there. I'm looking forward to seeing what Daimon figured out and seeing who is the next person he is going to help. I think it should be the last part of Daimon's stealing from the devil mission. Yup, the rest of the backstory will be explained on the climax of the arc as that will be when everything will unveil, still I think that more or less gave you an overall idea of what happened back then without revealing the future plot XD
