You have nice world setting and can explore a lot more than this. Its feels like Chinese clan or sect type of story in western fantasy setting. He wants allies for what? Just because he didn't have anyone in previous life and new lessons taught about how important people in life are ? Seriously need a solid reason to find allies other than this. No convincing motive here.

since his original core is white does that mean his other cores will always be white as well or can they become a higher grade? I ask because the way you describe it only his original core needs to be white, so couldn't he upgrade his other cores

Its so annoying, creepy old guy in child's body acting as he really is a child, he calls himself great sage, shouldn't he expect 100 points in knowledge? in spells he saw the spells of top 2 students and their score, again he should expect 100 points, and expect zero in cultivation stage test, yet he says he hasn't expected his score near 200?, its BS, plus he eavesdrop on everyone every time yet this time he didn't, and was dying of embarrassment, didn't he went through this stuff before as well?

i kind of forgot but what would happen if he lvl'd up one of his mana core to a yellow grade ? Since he already has 3 Pure mana cores, wouldnt he be able to create more with those other two even if one has turned yellow?
