I find Ophis to be a super awkward character to position in DXD. It's like every author is obligated to "deal with" her existence one way or another, and they basically all boil down to confusing her with headpats and cookies, and then isolating her from the story. She's too strong to be an enemy, too strong to be an early ally/ minion, and in canon she's not sealed or off the table -- and she is even canonically "active", so you can't ignore her like Shiva or Great Red, or other chars. Obnoxious.
