Just when I was heart broken from the last chapter, I received such a heavy TRUTH bomb đ. Thatâs okay, my heart is pretty strong now, so I could take it đ€. But I wonât say my draw didnât drop to the floor!!! This is why I LOVE Ciprianâs POV. We gain so much insight, detail/knowledge about whatâs happening on the other side. I have a theory that once Rowan learns the truth, heâll be hesitant with his resentment towards Ciprian for only a moment before he absolutely detests Ciprian for abusing him, his own child. Ps. I love that Ciprianâs POV displays his emotions to show how human he really is. Reading from other POVS, we see Ciprian in the other charactersâ eyes and, naturally, we begin to believe that heâs more powerful and less remorseful that he actually is. Just wowâŠwhat an amazing chapter this was đ„°.
I can't agree that this chapter shoes Ciprian as being more human. it makes me dispise him even more. The way he is lying to himself he is denying everything that could have been even the tiniest bit redeeming . He is using his "love" for Loma as an excuse to make himself a more powerful "God" in his own realm . I truly despise this character.
It starts with an S, doesn't it? Even though I hate Ciprian, I am thoroughly in awe of how you've humanized him in this chapter. He now feels to me like Claude Frollo (have you heard Jonathan Young's cover of Hellfire?) At this point I also randomly wondered what's the standing Caissa score between Wren and Loma.
