Being refused by someone you admire, I can imagine how Mara feels :(, but I understand Rowan is only protecting her. I hope when Wren returns, some of Rowan’s fears are settled and that he considers taking Mara under his wing (even if he doesn’t know what he’s doing 😚), now that there are possibly two men to protect her 🥰.
