I guess, in the original timeline, the viscount executed the surviving soldiers and accused every servant and soldiers of that may have survived of treason to stop any rumour that his son gave up on his retainers and fled for his life. Now, the question is, will the viscount still accuse them of treason to prevent them from spreading the news that his son abandoned his retainers in the face of goblins?
