To be honest I don't get what is happening. Is she the cossette that was reading the book or is she the cossette from the book. I am really confused right now

she's both Cosette the reader and Cosette in the novel. If I base it according to the timeline, Cosette's character is like this: Original Cosette ➡️ Reader Cosette ➡️ (and lastly) Curent Cosette. Hope it helps 😁

I think Maxen shouldn't be reborn as her. It will actually be very messy. Cossette is very disturbed now and if Maxen remembers everything in their past life, the situation would turn very tricky. Just my opinion.
