I expected him to learn science or some type of alchemy since (in my opinion) without resources he can't go to far even with his clones. Maybe he can cure his mother on his own. Maybe he can use some strange items that in normal situations are not recommended like some magic items that link people mind together permanently with his clones or self destructive potions that gives temporary benefits like sharper mind faster body training speed with side effects like death or becoming an idiot
