I thought I knew how to do silent casting. Shouting the name of the spell takes away his surprise, and he is, after all, one of the best wizards in Nazarick. But since he's a "fake" NPC, he's forgiven. The cameos are random and all of women. Where is my gender equality? :v

I hate myself for not liking this story, despite how well written it is. For all his talk of freedom, the MC is clearly falling into his role of a slave. And with his obsession of 'keeping his humanity' and being afraid of crazy monstrous girls, I feel like... it's not a story for me. Very unique setting and going against the common grain of Overlord fics, but being anti-meta in this case hurts the enjoyment more than anything, despite how well conceived and written the story is.
