I am not good at giving constructive criticism so I can’t really say anything bad about it. I thought it was an ok chapter. Sorry I can’t give you better thoughts about it.

I'm surprised he didn't go to Gringotts or where ever he might need to get a DNA test just in case he is related to one of the big families in this world

I know it's a little early to talk about the revelations, but I have the impression that the mc reincarnated in the body of his grandfather or at least someone who had a connection with him. Thank you for the exciting chapter, I really enjoyed the intrigues and literary senses that brings more pleasure when reading. Courage for the rest, you really deserve to be congratulated for the time you invest in making such chapters

I think the chapter was fine. Maybe could of had more dialogue with the headmistress? I had hoped he would try to subtly ask the goblins to check and see if he was from a magical family and get a familiar.

Ngl the MC should pour a lot of time into mathematics. I feel like although the wizards aren't completely oblivious to human subjects such as advanced mathematics and astrology. They probably don't have anyone who is knowledgable enough to use and integrate the more complicated and niche high level aspects of the subjects. The content only comprehensible if you were a long time disciple of the discipline. Could be a unique advantage for the MC.
