Qin Wei probably saw himself together with Lifei. I could see him being delusional enough to think they're in a relationship now. Oh, and I definitely think he'll blame Qin Lan for both 1. ripping him from his perfect dream and 2. being the one to steal his glory because he should have been the one to kill the plant and be the hero. lol, this is gonna be both funny and extremely pitiful.

This chapter really reminded me of an event from She's the Protagonist where Yu Ru Bing was trapped in a false reality I don't want to go into much into as not to give spoilers as it was a great part of the novel

We'll also scream that some situations are illusions and that they should snap out of it but here's the tricky part: how many of us have that willpower to rend the illusory reality? This might be out of context but what happens to the og owner of the bodies after Sui Li (MC) has possesd their bodies? 🤔 do they just die? Or do they watch MC's actions until she dies? If they do watch MC then it would get quite awkward 🤭
