Comments of chapter undefined of The Innkeeper

so.... the reason why they never ever helped the guy was cause firstly a prophecy which was wrong since our mc now went into the cultivation world by his own means which should suggest that the prophecy is now invalid and secondly a fear over bloodline? the old man even said he can become the heir there is nothing to really fear no? or am I missing something that's obvious? I will state this I love the novel in everything but this part where his family has just neglected him like this and how the mc still treats them with all with love and respect it just hurts to see the mc worry about people who just never helped him or protected him... or even heal the man
