Okay, controversial opinion here: this felt like an incredible plot convenience, which is not uncommon in cultivation novels (it's a cliche at this point), but still. Nothing lead me to believe that World Lotus can heal people. No mentions of it, nothing alluding to it. Hero needed a healing item and a power up, so a thing he had gave him both. I'd normally not complain about it, but this novel somehow avoided this particular problem for so long, it was quite jarring.

Heck, it would be way more believable if the super-healing get out of jail card was some sort of family heirloom, because it was long established how hilariously powerful Lex's family is. And it would've made A LOT of sense for them to make sure he doesn't die to something stupid.

Why is it so short?
