Comments of chapter undefined of The Innkeeper

I like Lex just fine, so far. I think what he does generally makes sense, at the time. I think maybe people are just too used to that generic razor focused MC you mentioned and the ultra fast paced novel they belong in. No compromises, absolutely not even a hint of any kind of submission, and certainly not any losses tolerated. There are an awful lot of those on this site. I think it's nice to read something different.

Lex is fine , just needs to fix his brain tumor and do more to cultivate. Seems unlikely that using the system is the only way for him to cultivate, maybe if he did more, later upgrades would be cheaper as the inn wouldn’t have to do everything for him 😅

Lex is fine to me. However Marlo on the other hand, makes me roll my eyes. He's very one dimensional and could be given a lot more depth compared to how he is currently. I know I'm several months behind the current release chapter so there may be a lot of development ahead. However, of all the characters so far he comes across as the most simple of them all.

That's reasonable I guess, character development is important and should not be rushed
