Comments of chapter undefined of You Are Mine, I'm Yours

So now I know that this isn’t even the same story anymore. I’m not dropping anymore coins on this book. I would like to know what this original story is from so I can read it. It feels like someone is stealing someone else’s book and changing some minor details like jobs, cities, etc. This is honestly the strangest thing I’ve ever come across on this site. If I’m wrong then I’m sorry but there are too many discrepancies to be anything else.

I have gotten fed up of reading this book. This book, chapters n stories are all mixed up with many different stories, names ,companies names states names.......... this is too confusing

I figured part of it out. I was so attracted to this part of the story bc I’ve read it before. It’s Crossfire #1 Bared To You by Sylvia Day. The chapters that I have read ahead Emmy is the Character Eva Tramell from the book and Mark is her gay boss ata marketing company rather than a printing house. None of this makes any sense whatsoever.
