Really immersive first chap, the only problem is the repetitiveness with I's. Solve this by adding other tenses, would really improve the quality and flow. This is an option, you don't need to do it but if you really want it to be above average, I recommend it. But anyways good stuff, well done for writing this since it helps our community spread.
