If he could not understand why she did it (lying for money), even though it was wrong, then he should not be with her. I do not see how he will trust her now. Whether she keeps the baby or not, will not make a difference, unless he secretly wanted one. Honestly, what was the initial real reason to not grant her request to rejected the bond. Nothing she does will ever repay the debt. Maybe he is angry with himself for falling for her.
