I feel the problem with his vision and sharing it is that he is essentially fulling his vision. Like in Greek mythology where edipus was predicted he would kill his father at his birth so he was abandoned. But because of his abandonment he unintentionally killed his father latter because of try to avoid the prediction. So by sharing his vision to avoid it occurring he is actually fulfilling it by putting him further at odds with the kingdom.
