Yeah gonna put the fic on ice for probably 2 months until this forced "parents control my life" filler plot is over. And we can all hopefully pretend it never happened. I am actually not that mad, the author answered my question why mc's have no parents or they are not important.

I think the thing about parents controlling the mc's life is really boring, people over 15 years old are already starting to seek independence and here we have an all powerful mc over 15 years old who is basically a mama's boy and doesn't seek independence of your life.
