Unfortunately, webnovel’s algorithm for counting views is F* up. Just one reader clicking on your book page is counted as a view BUT it’s NOT counted as ONE view. It can be 10 or 7 or 6 views or more. It’s embarrassing how the numbers of views are inflated on this platform. You don’t even need to read the book for a certain amount of time for a view to count. Most 100K views novel actually have 10K views. It’s … saddening lol.

Webnovel is dumb. I have a novel that has 7.1k views and it was mostly just me previewing it from a normal readers perspective. I don't even know why it has 7k views. It counts 1 click from each chapter as maybe 20+ to 40+ views in one go. AND THAT'S JUST FROM YOURSELF
