Sunny might not even have to fake losing. I really hope he is actually the more skilled one, though. The thought that Nephis might end up being the stronger of the two after Sunny endured four years of brutal isolation sickens me.
i think sunny should still be stronger tho, for one simple reason... while she has been fighting with a full cohort and the echos they may all have... he has been fighting the same creatures but with only his shadows. You can say that his shadows are stronger than any cohort, but still. He has to account for everything on his own while the cohort has more advantages. so the fact that he has survived this long with just a shadow of himself while his real body is in the city... should be enough proof of his strength
Vassitri:while sunny did go through the isolation and tons of fights, Neph did as well. so then being on par or Neph being slightly stronger isn't out of the realm of possibility, especially since sunny even said he isn't used to fighting humans. he's only taught nightmare creatures for 4 years.
I worked as a dance intlstructor for years. It is fun to see the parallel. Social dances have a set of typical movements with functions to accomplish different goals. However, each has a personality and understanding that will enable you to take a given dance much further than simply repeating sets of moves. I used also frequently tell my students the biggest difference between advanced dance and many martial arts is intent you have for your partner.
sunny knows nothing about what “incomprehensible” truly is. If he knew the incomprehensible pain of waiting for the next shadow slave chapters, maybe he would understand the next steps to supremacy. i mean seriously, i can’t tell if reading these chapters is worth the pain of waiting for new ones😭 thanks for the amazing work as always g3🖤
