Anybody else getting the impression that this is exactly what Fate planned? Him abandoning others for the sake of his self, seems very much going back to his old bad instincts…seems like a bit of a misplay on Sunny’s end.

Where did sunny start of in the nightmare? Wasn't it the estuary, and what was written down there was "Be careful what you wish for!!" I seriously can't see this going well for sunny but if it does, then through some kind of intervention by the mad prince.

what if He remembers and carefull wishes for All people in the know to just forget his true name to be free to decide to whom He will tell that name instead by himself. the answer is oblivion! Was that not what the Mad Prince let him know? So He can choose his own freedom?

hm well they all think they have to kill the first seeker but what if you can also only clear the nightmare by reaching the estuaries deepest part and greatest secret? will i think Sunny wants to reclaim his freedom he also has to do something there because while torment might want to fullfill Sunnys wish the Mad Prince wants him to clear the nightmare. so there is no way that he would let torment act as she please if it doesnt benefit his goals for Sunny (at least in my eyes)

all I can think is "careful what you wish for" the Mad Prince warned him from the start who's to say he didn't make the wish and that caused Nephis to die hence making him choose to reset Sunny breaking the chains of fate is still far out I assume

One thing i find odd is why do the others have to rush ending the nightmare, why not wait for him? it's not as if torment is there to see them coming. they should have time....

What if weaver is at the source. There is a very powerful being there. Something related to fate is there. Something that corrupts everyone is there. And weaver was first never described as dead and it is clear that whatever is in the estuary means much to him. Something that makes you fateless is there but how can it also make you defiled? Maybe it doesn't and the first seeker didn't get defiled because she learned the secret but because she looked weaver in the eye.

Either of the possibilities were intriguing, I wanted him both to stay and to leave, but now he made the choice I want the consequences to be beyond anything he considered, I want him forgotten, alone and unplugged from the spell, I want Sunny to forge a new path of ascension, to become a sorcerer, to be a menace and retake his bonds
