Great chapter. I am glad that Effie’s situation was explained in a way where her actions make sense. I hope we get to see her own thoughts about the situation she is currently in.

This situation could be resolved if they left the island with Jet and came back later on the side of the island with Effie exploiting the properties of the time loop. It doesn't need to be a on one go scenario thanks to the very time loop that traps them.

I think Cassie now knows about the time loop because she is always sharing Sunny's senses, so she has been affected by the sin of solace the same way Sunny did. Maybe if Sunny shares his perception with the rest of the group using his mental communication everyone can know about the time loop eventually

I’m kind of skeptical on the idea the Effie can’t ride the horse or run. It’s not ideal but pregnant women have run marathons and ridden horses. Effie being a Master with a powerful constitution and strength as her passive ability is even safer. The constraints the author put on don’t make sense

I’m curious to see what Cassie brings into the mix here. Honestly her powers can do some weird stuff here. In a time loop how does the clairvoyance work? Like can she see forward as normal and get some revelations but only up until the point the loop ends? Or can she “see” outside the loop (as in anything beyond the whirlpool) I am kind of sad she remembers now tho. Like I feel for our boy sunny, I understand what he is going through is mind numbingly cruel and lonely. At the same time, I don’t want our girl Cassie to have to live through that either.
