I can't help but think of the massive utility that ability of the serpent will allow him to have! Just off the top of my head I think about the Iron spider of the Forgotten Shore that could create web strings as strong as iron...

The serpent may be able to transform into that Ascended Reflection which belonged to Mordret that Sunny killed... If sunny needs to fly, the serpent can become ✔ A Spire Messenger (from the forgotten shore. They were [Fallen Monster] *someone confirm for me if Sunny has ever killed a Chain worm. Those could fly too but I don't know if he managed to put one down ✔ something very dangerous that Sunny has killed before - the Blood Flower. Those parasitic flowers of the Forgotten Shore that can eat something from the inside then take over. They were [Awakened Monsters]. Can be very good for cloud control if he needs to fight Manu awakened creatures. This flower existed as pollen that would take hold, grow, multiply, the spread some more
