Is it possible the strings of fate and brining him to the different deities and which is allowing him to somewhat gain their powers? With the weavers blood as the base he mIght have the ability to absorb the “gifts” of the gods. Or it could have been a previous weaver that had seen how fate was going to go and had left the arm as an inheritance
