Guiltythree
All right this here is one of the problems with this story that always bothers me. The lack of talking and planning ahead. If they they tried to reason with the golden corpse and convince him to hand over power or work with them, more live could have been saved. And if they planned ahead they could have used Caster as the the sacrifice. But no, they don't talk so they stupidly leave it in "fates hands." And then they say there was nothing they could do because they are IDIOTS.
given how sunny hates being a slave. I am surprised how he accepts easily being a slave to his destiny. when they were near that monster that erased their will to leave, they worked toward changing her vision and not dying. there was also a time where Cassie asked sunny to trust/not give up on changing star (forgot the chapter) maybe that will play a role here.
Honestly with all the prophecy business and stuff that sunny discovered in the ruined city it would be kind of odd but not impossible, If sunny wins and somehow changing star goes back into time and this all starts again. There have been Similarities between changing star and what fell from the sky.
