Anybody have a feeling there's a lot of filler these flashback chapters? Like... just wasting time? We started volume 2 with boring... he's isolated in a castle with no gate. And right when things got a bit interesting, him progressing, we went back to boring, when they got back.

I cant help but agree. This coupled with the fact that there are many chapters locked behind privilege is quite frustrating. Still though, the grammar and worldbuilding of this novel are leagues above most of the other stories on this platform. I’ll put up with it as long as the quality doesn’t take a dive.
