Uh, I'm seriously confused about the date you mentioned in this chapter. At the start of the story you mentioned it's 1943. Then you mention crhistmas just happened and the New Year arrived when Kyle encountered Thena again, assuming this means we're in 1944, this matches with the chapter about January in Japan. But here you mention it is october 1943??
