Sorry for reposting this author-san but i had to correct the gramatical errors Please dont be mad with me since english isnt my Main language. I hope you Take it into account when Alex "reworks" the 3D pokemon era and let me help you with a summary of pokemon problems so let me dot the i's: Linearity: Pokemon has sinned by being linear. They just implemented open world(Scarlet and Violet) and they did it halfway. What people want is to have the freedom to challenge the gyms in the order they prefer and for the difficulty to scale with them. The difficulty should return to the level of Gen 4. In addition to the fact that people want alternatives to the trainer's journey such as being a member of the regional evil organization, being a breeder, being a gym leader, being a contestant, even playing as a simple salesman owner of a pokemon store...at least there is hope since legends arceus implemented combat styles, pokemon alpha, crafting and stealth mechanics, things that if combined with a truly open world are the right direction. Inconsistencies in the lore: The legendaries lost relevance and literal respect, they introduced excessive legendaries without making them fit well into the lore and we end up with problems like kyogre, suicune, tapu fini and lugia that literally confuse the newbies because all of the ones I mentioned are linked to the same type: water(and the saddest ting of all is that lugia ISNT water Type lol)...and the battles with them are currently a mere procedure since every time you have to face the legendary pokemon of the games they give you a master ball...a legendary pokemon due to its legendary status and power It must be difficult to capture. The fights that best reflect my point are Mewtwo's in Gen 1 and Arceus's in legends, which should be the norm and not the exception... Competitive: It is the core of the aforementioned Game freak focuses on each installment in the competitive and each time it introduces something it unbalances something else, one of the most obvious examples: The fairy type and zacian(They killed the Ubers meta since there arent counters to a pokemon with fairy/steel typing with the ability of boosting his own attack every turn...)...other problems that I can mention are bad management that the insect type, the poison type and the ice type have had. In fact, Wolfey Glick (three-time competitive champion) had to make videos about the changes that the ice type and bug type needed, and Game freak applying the law of minimum effort only took a suggestion from all the ones that Wolfee made: changed the weather from hail to snow giving 50% DEF to the ice types under this weather, however this is of no use if the ice type still has the same weaknesses, also the Main gimmick changing every 2 gens... Please let Alex make mega evolutions a permanent gimmick and also include the crafting/survival, alpha pokemon per zone and the stealth features of legends arceus Also apply the suggested changes of Wolfey: Bug Type should be the direct counter of fairies(Fairy resistant and bug moves being ×2 effective against fairies(That will prevent the problem of current meta with Zacian),also give them ×2 resistance psychic and dark types) buffing accuracy and power of bug moves and giving the move first impression to all bug types movepool. Since grass types are immune to powder moves bug types could get immunity to confussion status. Ice types: general Move buff, some exclusive powerful offensive moves, buff ice dry and give that move to every ice Type. Make ice Type resist water and flying types also the weather 50% DEF buff and freeze status immunity helps
