Make the starter pack in Grand Line bring with it a skill or something else that enhances his talent and potential or just one of the 2 so you fix his status of "not talented and no potential" and give the excuse so that he does not die early in the world of One Piece. Sure I would be interested and curious as to why the celestial dragons would care to stick their nose into east blue. An what exactly would draw their attention in their direction anyway, most curious indeed. Abel's actions, whether good or bad would definitely have ripple effects. Though I feel the biggest winner in all of this would be Usopp. Since the main thing holding him back from his potential was his crippling cowardice and trying to find his purpose. Now that his mom is cured and safe for the most part, I would not be surprised if he awakens conquerors much earlier and easier. Since in canon he displays many of the attributes that suits one. Grandiose ambition, charismatic and unyielding will. Looking forward to seeing your work, its been pretty good so far. An I believe this is one of the only stories I have found that has a lunarian main character, which also earns you points as well.
