I think both characters’ actions make sense. ML left because he knew that FL would never forgive him if he forced her to go with him. I would rather see a more humane ML than an overbearing CEO type ML. FL not trusting ML makes sense because I also wouldn’t trust a person I’ve lived with for half a year to set aside his life long plan just for me. She gave him a chance to prove himself but he blew it when he hesitated about killing her or not right in front of her. Aside from that, I’m looking forward to how ML may pursue FL. I don’t think FL will be able to live peacefully in the village forever.

Author just tell me whether this book ending going to be sweet or bittersweet so I can prepare my heart

I believe he will come back to pursue feng Ning.Atleast now he found her so first he needs to take care of his mother ...to chase his Empress he needs to show her sincerity of his love n honesty...let's hope for best for both of them😀😍😍
