Idk I think all 3 kids are pretty good examples of being raised in an emotionally turbulent environment. The son basically detached and isolated himself from family affairs. The younger sister learned to please everyone and deflect trouble form herself. The middle sister became the scapegoat for the parents shortcomings. Plus the twins both clearly have some codependent issues

Well why everyone critizing her fo being a good sister and the slow progression of the story didn’t the author said it’ a slow burn novel ?
