I was so apprehensive towards the horrible things Liu Suzhi went through that I had to put off reading this chapter for a while. I can't imagine having to wait patiently for so many years like that. I really have to admire a lot about Liu Suzhi's character. I love how all of the characters in this novel have so much depth. Thank you for the chapter!

whoa this chapter was a lot to digest. I think the narration itself before and after the incident and Liu Shuzi's detachment from it shows how much it did hurt and how he believes kind of that Shen Xi and the him now are completely different people. Seriously that princess and the previous emperor are both disgusting Still I am glad to know about the backstory cause this just gives so much more to enrich the character Thanks for the chapter and looking forward to more
