Okay, I can’t leave us with this heartbreaking retelling as our last chapter. So here’s their “And They All Lived Happily Ever After”

I think this is the last chapter…..😭 there is no time for the next next chapter I would have wished for at least a pregnancy for them ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Such a heartwelming chapter, poor Riftan… I do hope in the next chapter we will have a happy end to that sad moment of Riftan and Maxi, they do deserve a child each other.

Riftan’s POV is heart-wrenching.. he truly loves Maxi. If only he knew then what horrors Maxi has endured in Croyso, he would not even dare think that she had the best life there…

I never thought I would cry reading this. The fear Riftan felt at losing her to death at the time 💔 😢 And then had my anger diverted to knowing what happened after, at the thoughts of Duke Croyso took advantage of Maxi losing the baby and how he treated Maxi after made my blood boil 🤬🤬🤬 I suddenly remembered the part the so-called dad struck her when her body is fragile and traumatised after losing her baby 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Never imagined I had to relive this again. I thought I got over it, but no.

Oh God. This couldn't be more heart wrenching than I thought it could be. No wonder the Remdragon knights treated her as if she was made of glass after the first war. For them to see their usually stoic captain nearly driven mad after seeing Maxi... I cannot imagine. (with this I am begging and hoping to see a side story with the RDK's pov of this chapter too) Imma stay in this corner and just sob for a while.

And there we have it! What an amazing story; and with this lovely angst ridden chaser. I’m so happy to have read it!

there has to be one more. One more chapter to heal the hurt if this one. The story can't end like this. our last words read can't be of a barely escaping death Maxi, and a broken Riftan. it has to be come back to the present, their peace and happiness. Even the last glimpse of them was marred with Maxi's doubts and her discontent that he seemed less affected by her...we need to leave them happier. Joyful. Pregnant. 🙏🏻 better still....the chapter can be a a super speed one, that begins with pregnancy and ends with a healthy birth, because the pair of them will be an emotional, anxious mess the whole pregnancy after this ordeal!!!! it can't end this way 😭

Reading Riftan pov is always so heart wrenching 🤯😭💔 after this it’s not wierd that he is too traumatized to even think about Maxi becoming pregnant …

I’m having a hard time believing this is really the end. I hope we get the last bonus chapter tomorrow I’m not ready to say goodbye 😭
