As much as I hate this stand off, they are both still dealing with so much and no time to truly communicate in for than 5 minute snippets. I hope she shows up looking stunning at the banquet and the bards start to sing her praises. And Sejalhu is seriously one of my favorites, nothing passes his notice and as a nobleman, I think he will still put her in a pedestal to ruffle Riffy's feathers, to urge him to claim his wifey once again.

This was such a short chapter!!!

This chapter is so short.. I think it would be best that Maxi and Riftan will let out their grievances with each other. It may become loud once they start yelling at each other and be amusing for others to watch & hear, but they will be able to express their innermost feelings. It seems like having a quiet and private talk between them fail to happen due to interruptions and no appropriate location for them to let it all out. I wish Riftan would stop shutting himself out every time Maxi talks to him. His indifference and secrecy is not helping their relationship to mend.

I am so done with the depressing ends to these chapters and then waiting a day or two for the same depressing ending in the next chapter. Can we just skip to some happiness already geez?

I just can't wait for the banquet to happen.

Not cool, 😑 this was a short chapter. Nothing but the same argumentative discussions. I want to read some serious dramatic *hit now and not have to wait 24hrs. Making us wait only pis*es us off. 😠
